Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO EACH DAY :
- Operate Blending and Milling Equipment to meet daily production and quality needs / expectations.
- Respond to production problems and take appropriate corrective action. Make necessary mechanical adjustments.
- Operate forklift to move material.
- Complete required record keeping tasks.
- Maintain work area and equipment according to the highest GMP’s, SOP’s and safety standards.
- Be an active member of the Milling / Blending work team with emphasis on teamwork spanning all work shifts.
- Continually strive for improvements in safety, quality and productivity.
- Work with minimal supervision; must be responsible and able to timely initiate appropriate work activities.
- Coordinate activities with Production Control.
- Operate other packaging machines and / or work in other areas of the plant (in both the wet and dry tea facilities) in response to business needs.
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.

- Additional duties and various projects as needed.

Shift Hours : 11 : 00 pm - 7 : 15 AM
Shift Days : Sunday - Thursday
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious manufacturing experience preferredMust have strong mechanical aptitude / skillsAbility to lift 50-60 lbs repeatedly throughout dayAbility to be on your feet for shiftGood communication skills (written and verbal)Good mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, averaging and percentages)Must be quality and customer service orientedAbility to meet attendance guidelines and work additional hours / OT as neededAbility to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the companyCompensation & Benefits :
