Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments during admission and each shift-monitor cardiac and neurological status closely
- Interpret telemetry data and respond to critical changes in rhythm or neurological parameters
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians to adjust care plans based on clinical findings
- Administer treatments and medications as ordered, ensuring safe and timely delivery of care
- Accurately document all aspects of care and patient response
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations in a clear and supportive manner

This position is based at a well-established, 221 bed acute care hospital serving Central Florida. The facility is a designated Level II Trauma Center with the region's only full-service cardiovascular program-offering open-heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, rehabilitation, and diagnostic services. Additional specialties include neurosciences, orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, and acute rehabilitation. Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Active Florida RN license, or multistate (compact) RN license with ability to obtain Florida licensureAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start dateNIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hireAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hirePreferred Qualifications
Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience, particularly in medical surgical, telemetry, or step-down environments
