Healthcare Sim Specialist I

Summary Collaborates with Simulation Specialist II to implement simulation-based educational activities for medical and healthcare personnel. Designs and implements realistic education activities, including simulation, while addressing goals and objectives for the activity. Assists with curriculum design, simulation facilitation, debriefing, and assessing the quality of education and simulation processes within the lab. Works with physicians and other healthcare providers and staff to conduct simulations that help meet their goals. Maintains working knowledge of simulation-based education best practices, simulators, and works with the lab staff to manage and prepare supplies for simulation activities. Education BS in any clinical healthcare related field, simulation degree preferred. Licensure / Certification Certification in simulation preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Must maintain clinical licensure as applicable. Experience Minimum 2-year direct patient care experience.
