A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist I - ED. Key Responsibilities : Serve as the first point of contact for patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring a pleasant experience Gather and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and obtain necessary consents Assist with financial arrangements and collections, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures Required Qualifications : High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare or a corporate work setting Computer / data entry experience required; Epic experience preferred Knowledge of patient registration systems and intermediate Microsoft Office Suite preferred All required certifications must be obtained upon hire
