Sodexo is seeking a Human Resources Manager located in the Oceanside, CA area. This individual will utilize their HR knowledge to handle complex issues and administration for this account. Main responsibilities will be to support the employee life cycle, including training, employee relations, recruiting support, and educating managers on policies procedures. The Human Resources Manager will support our food operations in San Diego, Oceanside, Bridgeport, Twenty-Nine Palms, & Miramar, CA, and one location in Yuma, AZ. Must be able to travel 35%.

What You'll Do

• Onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems;
• Possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws;
• Maintain active and terminated employee files;
• Coordinate and conduct required monthly training;
• Possess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responses;
• Possess strong time management and organizational skills;
• Understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;
• Have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed;
• Complete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis;
• Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
