Position Duties
Support and maintain for various enterprise applications used across campus, predominately focused on academics. Assist with database management, system enhancements, upgrades, reporting, and training. Work with third-party vendors and users across campus to troubleshoot issues, evaluate business processes, identify challenges, and define user requirements and deliverables. Thoroughly communicate to users ensuring a clear understanding of resolution, responsibilities, and understanding of technical requirements.
Essential Functions
Provide Tier 2 support for software application incidents, ensuring timely and professional responses to support tickets. Communicate effectively with users, conduct thorough research, escalate issues when necessary, and drive resolution to completion. Specifically, primary administration for Learning Management Systems (Moodle), web-conferencing platforms (Zoom and Microsoft Teams), classroom and participation software (Panopto, Turnitin, Poll Everywhere). Perform system administration duties, such as user and course management, data processing, managing system / automated tasks and error detection.
Communicate clearly and effectively with all members of the campus communityincluding academic and administrative offices, faculty, students, parents, external vendors, and the Technology Services department. Provide concise, accurate, and professional information, serving as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical users to ensure mutual understanding and alignment. Translate complex technical concepts into accessible language to support informed decision-making and collaboration.
Updates, and upgrades, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and security protocols. Proactively identify performance improvement opportunities and collaborate with development teams to optimize system functionality. Ability to understand academic-facing Workday integrations and business processes. Development and configuration of textbook and third-party integration with the Learning management system and other platforms (i.e. McGraw-Hill Connect, Cengage Learning, Pearson Learning Labs).
Support end users in effectively using software and resolving common issues independently.

Describe Required Experience : A minimum of 1 year of experience working with enterprise applications, ERP systems, or systems integration.

Demonstrated technical proficiency in troubleshooting IT software issues and quickly adapting to new technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather requirements, develop design solutions, and evaluate the effectiveness of different approaches. Proven customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels across the campus community. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities. Capable of working independently or collaboratively with peers in related technology areas, while managing multiple projects, shifting priorities, and dynamic requirements. Committed to delivering high-quality, accurate results with strong attention to detail. Must be able to support the University's goals for institutional diversity, as well as the goals and values of a Catholic, Jesuit education.
