About The Position

Job Title : CT Scan Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required.

License : Must have active state license.

Certifications : BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT)

Must-Have :

Clienttion badge must be supplied by agency.

Siemens experience required.

Level 1 Trauma experience required.

First-timers accepted if they have previous experience.

On-call rotation required.

Floating to sister facilities is required.

Description :

Position involves working as a CT Scan Tech.

Daily caseload per tech varies per shift and location.

Will work a 3x12 hour schedule : Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7AM to 7 : 30PM, with holiday rotation included.

On-call responsibilities are part of the role.

Must be capable of floating within the scope to meet facility needs.

Requirements include experience with 3D rendering and various CT studies.

Experience with both routine and trauma studies is essential.

Interdisciplinary support is available.

The position supports a variety of patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 130 patients.

Must demonstrate radiation safety practices.

Physical aspects of the job may include preparations and / or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and performing biopsies and aspirations.

Adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures is expected.
