Program Director

Special Needs Unlimited has openings for Program Director to assist in the coordination of services for individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly receiving in-home personal care services.

Job Responsibilities :

• This position would be responsible for assessing client needs and coordinating of services in the home and the community.
• This would include overseeing the daily operations  and supervision of Field Coordinators and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) working in the home, maintaining required documentation, providing training to staff, monitoring the quality of care with established guidelines, etc.
• Must have prior experience working with persons with disabilities / elderly / special populations.
• This position is required one to be on call after hours and on weekends.
• Experience in a Supervisory capacity and / or Case Management is a plus, along with good communication skills.
• Requires, at minimum a Bachelor's degree in a Social Services field or related field of study.
• The person in this position requires a valid Driver's License, current vehicle registration, and proof of current vehicle insurance.
