We are looking for a dedicated Mailroom Document Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. As part of a reputable credit union service organization, you will handle essential mailroom tasks with precision and efficiency. This is a Contract position, ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities :
- Organize and sort incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely processing.
- Return undeliverable mail and maintain accurate records of mail distribution.
- Perform light data entry tasks to support back-office operations.
- Deliver mail across various departments in compliance with established procedures.
- Distribute incoming mail to appropriate recipients in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized mailroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth mailroom operations.
- Identify and address discrepancies in mail handling processes.
- Follow safety and security protocols when managing sensitive documents.
- Previous experience in mailroom operations or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling mail and documents.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic proficiency in data entry and computer applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and departments.
