Medical Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, and charting in the Electronic Medical Records system, EcW. You will also perform phlebotomy and blood draws, input labs into the system, and call back patients with lab results.
Responsibilities
Room patients effectively and efficiently.
Take and record vital signs accurately.
Chart patient information in the EMR system, EcW.
Perform phlebotomy and blood draws.
Input laboratory results into the system and communicate results to patients.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in medical assisting and phlebotomy.
Strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to schedule appointments effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or certification as a Certified Medical Assistant.
BLS Certification.
Work Environment
The Medical Assistant will float between locations in KCK and OP. The role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment where teamwork and adaptability are essential. Dress code is professional attire appropriate for a medical setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Overland Park, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
