The Department of Creative Arts Therapy is accepting applications for future Adjunct CAT Faculty positions. These applications are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the Department Chair when openings become available. Adjunct positions are on a quarter-by-quarter basis (Note : Drexel’s Academic Year includes four ten-week terms / quarters).

Adjunct CAT Faculty applications are being accepted for four general areas :

• Core (Counseling) Masters program courses
• Art Therapy and Counseling courses
• Dance / Movement Therapy courses
• Music Therapy and Counseling courses
• PHD in Creative Arts Therapies program
• Undergraduate elective courses related to the creative arts therapies

Job Overview

The adjunct faculty member will employ a variety of strategies to foster student learning and mastery, as well as, facilitate discussions, encourage active learning in all students, maintain proper course-related records, and evaluate student work and provide students with feedback as to the progress toward meeting the objectives of the course. Each adjunct faculty member is responsible for effectively teaching students in the assigned classroom, clinical or online settings. Each adjunct faculty member is responsible for effectively implementing the mission of the Department of Creative Arts Therapy in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Responsibilities may include teaching days, evenings, nights and weekends.
