About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI

Description : Number of Beds : 11

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4

Unit staffing description includes experienced RNs and paramedics.

Type of equipment utilized includes respiratory devices, EKG, cardiac monitoring systems, IV pumps, and defibrillators.

Documentation system used is Meditech.

Scheduling requirements include working 3 shifts per week.

Floating policy may require shifting to other emergency departments as needed.

Patient experience requirements include a minimum of 1 year of emergency department experience.

Facility is certified in chest pain and stroke care.

Requested skill set includes basic respiratory care knowledge for treatments such as breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPAP, and travel vents.

Advanced skills required with minimal oversight.

Dress code mandates navy scrubs.
