PRN NURSE PRACTITIONER - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Your duties & responsibilities will include :

• Provide general medical care, assessments, evaluation and treatment of adolescent patients
• Perform physical examination and / or preventive health measures within established nurse practitioner guidelines to assess and evaluate patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Take care of all H&Ps and interventions in a timely manner according to regulatory guidelines. Coordinate with the Medical Director to ensure that the quality of medical services is of the highest caliber.
• Provide competent medical physician back-up
• Consult with physicians, nursing, and other health professionals as needed to assure holistic approach and coordination of care and case management.
• Recommend, order, and prescribe treatments such as medication, therapy, and related procedures, and make referrals as needed.
• Maintain and update patient charts, records, and information according to facility guidelines and policy.
• Participate in Infection Control committee meetings monthly.
