Kennedy Lenart Spraggins LLP is also seeking a registered U.S. Patent Agent with a technical foundation in electrical engineering and / or physics to support the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in advanced technologies. This fully remote position offers meaningful opportunities to contribute to a sophisticated and collaborative patent practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute patent applications related to electrical engineering technologies.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to understand invention disclosures.
- Conduct prior art searches and support patentability analyses.
- Assist with patent portfolio development and strategic filing plans.
- Support quality control, docketing, and other firm operations as needed.
Minimum Requirements
B.S. or higher in electrical engineering or physics.Registered to practice before the USPTO.At least 3 years of experience in a private practice environment.Must have drafted or prosecuted 50 or more patent applications related to electrical engineering.Technical expertise in any of the following is preferred :Analog circuitryDigital logicProcessor architecturesPreferred Skills
