M-F 8-6

Position Summary

Assess clients and performs massage; the manual manipulation of soft tissues connective tissues muscle tendons ligaments and joints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess client posture gate range of motion muscle strength and propose treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic massages of soft tissues and joints.
• Propose client treatment plans.
• Work with other health care professionals on client treatment plans.
• Answer phones schedule appointments collect payment and bill insurance companies as needed.
• Specific level requirements are as follows;

Level I : Requires 0-2 years of hands on licensed massage experience pay grade 5.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Must maintain and complete continuing education requirements set by Washington State Department of Health.

Must be able to meet the physical demands of massage therapy with no physical restrictions or limitations.

Must be able to establish a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.

Must know the importance of self-care.

Ability to operate general office equipment including computers and tablets.

Position Qualifications

Successful completion of an approved Massage College.

Current Washington State Massage Therapy License.

Ability to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Washington State Drivers License and ability to be approved by the Tribal insurance to drive Tribal vehicles.
