Engineering Supervisor – Industrial

As part of our Manufacturing team youll help build the world-class state-of-the-art smart vehicles were known our plants around the world were constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. Responsibilities

In this position...

Lead IEs and support production to develop productivity proposals (rebalances OLOT reduction throughput improvements).

• Lead ergonomics improvement and problem solving through IE actions Lead work station set up and optimization
• Implement engineering changes that affect the work station and allocations.
• Supervise / coach IEs with time study schedules (e.g. MODAPTS) Interface with union / works council and Health and Safety to settle job disputes and ergonomic issues
• Lead headcount cost savings projects
• Supervise monthly tracking of progress in VPOS
• Lead cycle line layout
• Supervise planning for mix and line speed changes
• Lead / manage departmental rolls analysis for weekly manpower meeting to ensure proper labor staffing and strategy
• Lead future model labor development (design cycle line layouts future model allocations)
• Serve as resource for plant IE training / assistance
