Position Overview
The Boys & Girls Club of Clifton is seeking a highly organized, initiative-taking, and mission driven Front Desk Receptionist. The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for members, parents, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment at the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly, helping maximize their impact and time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and welcome all visitors, parents, and staff into the building.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Direct visitors and calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Assists with mailing.
- Receives and posts payments for all programming.
- Provide information about programs, schedules, or services.
- Maintain contact lists, sign in / out sheets, and attendance records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist in filing, scanning, or photocopying documents.
- Maintain office supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Coordinator front desk coverage (if requesting time off) and daily operations.
- Checking children into the program.
- Answering phone calls and emails from parents and staff.
- Handling program registrations and payments.
- Assisting staff with activity setup and materials distribution.
- Supporting program events, field trips, or special activities.
- Monitoring entrance and program areas for safety and order.
Physical Demands :
Standing, walking, run / jog, leaning, bending, sitting. Must be able to lift 30lbs.

High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience with Parent Portal PreferredExperience with Vision PreferredSkills
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsFriendly, approachable, and professional demeanorExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesComfortable working with children and families in a busy environmentBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in Google WorkspaceAble to remain professional and positive under pressureCollaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethicHighly organized, with exceptional attention to detailBasic computer skillsCertifications :
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
