On-Site Instructional Coach

The Opportunity :

As an On-Site Instructional Coach at Aspire, you will serve as a resource for the implementation of the educational program and provide training and support for teachers on site within a small school environment where every student is known and valued as an individual. What You Will Do :

• Work closely with the Principal to identify needed resources (. consultants, curriculum materials).
• Facilitate team meetings.
• Support teachers who are applying for National Board Certification.
• Coherent curriculum, instruction, and assessment for teachers across grade levels and courses
• Align curriculum, instruction and assessment guidance to meet achievement targets
• Backwards map curriculum, instruction, assessment from CCSS / NGSS
• Identify regional and school progress monitoring systems, frequency and tools to meet achievement targets
• Participate in regional and school progress monitoring, data analysis and adjustment of strategy and supports
• Participate in Instructional Rounds and analyze data to assess progress across classrooms and adjust materials and training accordingly
• Work with assigned teachers to identify needed skills / techniques.
• Conduct demonstration lessons, hold mini-workshops and professional book clubs, and provide summer

training.
