Electrical Automation Technician – Charleston, SC

DuPont Rotating Shift Schedule – 12-Hour Day / Night Shifts)

We’re hiring an Electrical Automation Technician in Charleston, SC for a leading producer of specialty metal products. They offer a collaborative environment focused on innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Inspect and maintain low / medium voltage motor controls.

Troubleshoot Siemens and Rockwell drive systems.

Use PLC interfaces for diagnostics.

Assist with equipment installation and commissioning.

Maintain accurate maintenance records.

Contribute to safety procedures and develop JSAs.

Requirements :

Associate degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering Tech, military electronics training, or HS diploma

• 3+ Years of experience in troubleshooting electric motors and drives.

Knowledge of NFPA 70E / NEC safety requirements.

Experience with automation, PLC logic, instrumentation, hydraulics / pneumatics.

Forklift and aerial lift operation experience.

Salary : $41.40 per hour (fixed)
