IRP RN - Clinical Call Center
The James Clinical Call Center Triage RN is responsible for managing telephone calls within the defined scope of practice as established by the Ohio Board of Registered Nursing for established James patients. The James Clinical Call Center Triage RN is responsible for completing an initial call assessment and then triaging the call based on the assessment. The James Clinical Call Center Triage RN uses established triage algorithms to guide the assessment and interventions that need to be taken. The James Clinical Call Center Triage Nurse is responsible for documenting the assessment and management of the call into the organizational electronic medical record. The nurse will be responsible for following up and assisting in resolving post-discharge or post-procedure calls that require additional intervention after initial post-discharge / post-procedure call completed. They will also be the clinical resource for James scheduling staff for referral based needs.
Minimum Education Required : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) - preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years' nursing experience preferable in an outpatient setting. Basic PC and keyboard skills required. Experience in telephone assessment and management - preferred.
Required Qualifications : Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. Three years of oncology experience required.
