We are urgently seeking a full time substitute Science Teacher from December 9th- December 19 2025 and from January 5th through the end of January ( or as many of those days as possible). The applicant would be also be compensated for planning days if necessary during the December break. This appointment is covering a short term medical leave. While RI certified applicants must be considered first we will also entertain applicants with strong science backgrounds and teaching experience. The substitute teacher will be responsible for teaching / grading 2 sections of Chemistry and 2 sections of Engineering / Design as well as overseeing a daily advisory of 11 juniors. An optional once per week 3D printing class is available as well. Our public charter high school has been operating for 24 years and serves 350 students from Central Falls Pawtucket and Providence RI who are admitted through a blind lottery.
