Position Summary :

The Admitting Nurse is responsible for the coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team. The position will conduct full assessment of patient's medical history, provide patients with pre-operative instruction, perform teaching and education in a manner appropriate for patients. Will communicate effectively, conscientiously and frequently with all team members to share information and independently problem solve.

Qualifications :

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• California RN state license
• BLS Certification
