We are in need of an embedded software engineer who can support the networking subsystem to include implementing network protocols, analyzing defects using network monitoring tools, and supporting test organizations in configuring test scenarios . You will be innovating with real-time embedded systems for network-enabled radios. Essential Functions :

• Design and development of embedded software and platforms for next generation tactical radios.
• Consult with cross-functional engineering groups to evaluate operational requirements and define software goals for implementation.
• Lead small team through the complete software development lifecycle, utilizing best practices and adhering to Agile Scrum processes.
• Prepare technical work estimates and provide input to project planning.
• Provide guidance, assistance and mentorship to other engineers.
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities including the decomposition of complex tasks for Sprint Planning.
• Experience with TCP / IP, UDP / IP, socket development and Ethernet based networking capabilities on embedded Linux systems.
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.
