Job Overview :

The Unit Secretary is responsible for a wide range of administrative and unit support activities in order to facilitate the efficient workflow of a patient unit. The Unit Secretary will answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls, receive and direct the flow of patients, visitors and physicians as well as respond to patient call bells.

Job Qualifications :

• High School graduate or equivalent,
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook,
• Candidates must have familiarity with office equipment such as copier and fax machines or demonstrate willingness to learn.
• One year experience in a medical-related field preferred.
