Summary of Duties

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance energy efficiency and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position performs duties with or without direct supervision and also serves as a general facilities technician when HVAC-specific work is not required.

Position Purpose

The heating and air conditioning specialist is responsible for installing repairing and maintaining the Casinos heating and air conditioning units and ensure equipment is in proper working order.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Install inspect and service HVAC systems including ductwork thermostats and controls.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions; perform timely and effective repairs.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
• Test electrical circuits and components for proper operation and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed materials used and time spent.
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Interact professionally with team members guests and vendors.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments and independently when required while maintaining clear communication and coordination with others.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding privileged proprietary guest and employer information during and beyond the term of employment.
• Adhere to all company work rules policies procedures and safety standards.
• Perform all duties in accordance with prescribed casino internal control policies and practices.
• Respond to emergency service calls and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Perform general facilities maintenance tasks when HVAC-specific work is not required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
