Description : About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations and drive innovations across the organization. This role is responsible for managing our Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem, overseeing vendors and third-party services, refining IT budgets, and selecting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software that best supports our business needs.
The IT Manager will align technology strategy with business goals, ensure systems are secure and reliable, and lead a team that delivers high-quality IT services to all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day IT operations and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable systems, reflected with ticket tracking metrics.
- Manage and optimize the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD / Entra ID).
- Oversee vendor and third-party service relationships, including contracts, SLAs, and performance, additionally escalation management.
- Develop, manage, and refine IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective investments and licensing strategies.
- Evaluate and implement Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software solutions that integrate with existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory frameworks (example given CIS, NIST, ISO, PCI DSS).
- Provide leadership and mentorship to IT team members, foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Exercise scenarios and examples of career development for team members both inside IT department as well as coaching across departments.
- Partner with business leaders to align IT priorities with organizational goals.
- Track daily IT service desk tickets, as well as weekly project tasks for quarterly and annual business goals.
- Identify areas of opportunity where tactical investments can take place, for a measurable return on value, example given hardware to improve daily operation for end users or power users.
- Develop and ensure business continuity plans (BCP-DR) are exercised and kept up to date, work tightly with business stakeholders to ensure continuity of service.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP) engines, integrations with Corporate IT services.
Requirements : Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or equivalent job experience as approved by Human Resources.7+ years of IT management or enterprise systems experience.Strong expertise in the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem.Experience with vendor / third-party management,Experience with commercial software selection, integration with alternate software such as Enterprise Resource Planning tools or Human Resource Information Systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred :
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (Microsoft 365 suite, CISSP, ITILv4).Experience in regulated industries or large, hybrid IT environments, focus on Law and Finance.Experience in Technology budgeting, experience with FAIR or CIS-RAM model an additional plus.What Success Looks Like
