As a Quality Engineer II , you’ll play a key role in ensuring product excellence for our first-class seating programs. This position offers the opportunity to lead meaningful quality initiatives, collaborate directly with customers, and influence improvements that drive performance across the site.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for manufacturing products.
• Ensures that projects and / or process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and / or contracts.
• Performs escape management procedures and leads teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances as well as implement corrective / preventive actions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for non-conformance and escape management, coordinating investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions.
• Partner with customers and manufacturing teams to resolve issues, manage rejections, and coordinate source inspections when needed.
• Reviews and makes recommendations for Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.
• Collects and analyzes data for the development of quality strategy and programs to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
• Maintains customer relationships and collaborates on quality scorecard ratings.
• Provides technical guidance and support and maintains a strong working relationship with the inspection and operations teams.
• Develops new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.
• Utilizes PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, and Control Plans) to identify and make recommendations for managing risk in product development.
• Participates in internal, customer, and third-party regulatory audits.
• Supports Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Supports review and implementation of engineering change orders.

Role Type Definition :

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
