We're hiring a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Process Optimization :

  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and cost estimation for new manufacturing processes and equipment

Quality Assurance :

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions

    • Project Management :

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, equipment upgrades, and process improvements
  • Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, and budgets are met.

    • Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings initiatives
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques to streamline operations and maximize productivity

    • Documentation and Reporting :

  • Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and project updates.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, and project milestones

    • Training and Development :

  • Provide training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols

    • Required Skills / Abilities / Qualifications :

  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and automation
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis
  • Proficency in CAD / CAM software and familiarity with ERP systems
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concept to diverse audiences

    • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally and perform tasks requiring physical exertion.
