Job Title : Salesforce Developer Location : Lansing, Michigan (Onsite) Employment Type : Contract Interview Type : In-Person / Face to Face Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our team in Lansing, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions, with a focus on customizing the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements. You will be working closely with our business analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, triggers, Visualforce pages, Apex classes, and Lightning components. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions to meet business needs. Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce applications through efficient coding practices and system optimizations. Customize and integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and systems. Maintain and support Salesforce applications, ensuring ongoing system updates and patches are applied. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Salesforce platform. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Provide user support and training for Salesforce users. Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and best practices to enhance functionality and performance. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5 + years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is a plus). Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security features. Experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
