The Business Development Representative's Daily Activities include :
- Identify, develop, and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a recurring source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.
- Develop and deliver community outreach and economic development activities and act as a business development / referral source in target market areas, such as First-time Home Buyer and Personal Finance workshops.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations such as activist groups, community agencies, non-profits, and minority groups, while assessing new groups needing assistance purchasing or financing a home.
- Regularly participate in business-related development opportunities and community efforts to promote homeownership.
- Respond to customer inquiries and referrals generated from your contacts and other channels.
- Keep in touch with previously interested borrowers and support them in becoming loanable.
The ideal Business Development Specialist has the following Experience :
2+ years of industry experience, ideally with a focus on business developmentKnowledge of real estate and / or mortgage banking and products is a plus.Familiarity with CRM, applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and social media tools.Self-motivated and very organized.Excellent communication skills and experience delivering presentations to small-large audiences, in-person and virtuallyStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively as a member of cross-functional teams.Ability to build rapport and engagement with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.Schedule :
RemoteFlexibleTypically, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm; occasional weekend workshops and presentationsCompensation :
This position is 100% commission.Upon escrow closing, you'll get a referral fee of up to 1% of the loan amount. For example, on a $400,000 loan, you'll get a referral fee of up to $4,000.Powered by JazzHR
