What You'll Do
This role offers hands-on exposure to fieldwork, environmental compliance, reporting, and project support. You'll work under the guidance of experienced team members and support a variety of client projects.
- Field Work : Conduct environmental sampling, inspections, and monitoring (groundwater, well water, surface water, etc.)
- Project Support : Assist in executing baseline programs and compliance plans.
- Report Writing : Draft environmental reports, inspection memos, and permit submittals.
- Team Collaboration : Coordinate with subcontractors and internal staff to complete deliverables.
- Field Oversight : Participate in field programs including construction, drilling, reclamation, or environmental monitoring.
- Mapping and Analysis : Use CAD and / or GIS (if experienced) for data review and site planning.
What You Bring
Education : Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Hydrology or a related field.Experience : 0–5 years of relevant experience (internships, technician roles, or previous consulting work preferred).Technical Skills : Familiarity with sampling protocols, basic permitting processes, and field safety; GIS / CAD experience preferred but not required.Work Style : Strong writing skills, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or in teams.Travel : Willing and able to travel up to 3 days per week, including overnights to remote sites.Field Ready : Comfortable driving to remote sites, hiking rough terrain, and navigating changing weather.Location : Must live in the greater Reno area or be willing to relocate upon hire.What Makes This Role Different
