Responsibilities :
- The machine operator is responsible for all functions related to the daily production output. This position will require the use of computers, CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments.
- Program, setup and operate a Laser or Punch CNC preferably AMADA or TRUMPF
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Understanding of limitations and capabilities of punch press machines regarding tooling capabilities, such as clearance dies, countersinks, taps, etc.
- Experience in NC coding with capability to edit to job requirements
- Communicate with production leads on meeting demands and following schedules
- Inspect production parts for defects and meets quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Maintain work area and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
- Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endure duties of high-quality standards
