Job Description
This organization is in search of a Staff Software Engineer who thrives in the energetic and fast-paced culture of a startup. The role centers around the development of their state-of-the-art card issuance platform, which facilitates vital real-time card data access for early-stage startups. Key Responsibilities
- Design and scale the card issuance platform utilizing modern serverless architecture.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to implement features that significantly enhance customer growth.
- Engage with cross-functional teams in the US and Europe to ensure aligned product development.
- Influence technical decisions as the architecture develops and matures.
- Work within a hybrid model, attending the Bay Area office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Requirements
Required Qualifications :
Proven experience at a senior engineering level (or higher).Strong expertise in the fintech domain or payments.Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda.Expertise in SQL-based databases.A background in startups, emphasizing rapid execution.Located in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area.Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with TypeScript (though not essential).Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture.Knowledge of payment networks such as Mastercard and Visa.Previous employment at companies like Marqeta, Plaid, Ramp, or Brex.Insight into the card issuance landscape.Benefits
