WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN QC Document Coordinator

Monday - Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

  • Departmental liaison for Quality Management, Shipping & Receiving and Manufacturing.
  • Receive products into the laboratory and stage for testing.
  • Visually inspect the integrity of container / closure systems.
  • Inspect lot codes / batch codes for correctness.
  • Distribute product for analysis to chemists, technicians and microbiologists.
  • Update log books.
  • Check calculations and entries on paperwork includes raw data sheets and reports of analysis.
  • Assess data quickly to identify missing entries.
  • Update trend analysis on products.
  • Maintain and file electronic reports of analysis.
  • Collect and document retain samples and maintain retain areas.
  • Pull needed retain samples for investigations.
  • Collect, manage and ship analytical samples to outsource laboratory.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

  • QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES :

  • Ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Ability to navigate document control software.
  • Ability to follow written direction to perform procedures in QC laboratory.
  • Good recording keeping skills.
  • Working knowledge of cGMPs, 21CFR111, 210 and 211, ISO and GLPs.
  • Working knowledge of SOPs
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES :

  • Manual dexterity skills to use testing equipment and perform tests.
  • Lift up to 20 lbs when needed to put box of stability products on cart.
  • Sit, bend, squat, kneel, turn, twist and stoop.
  • Reach forward and overhead.
  • Good eye / hand coordination.
  • Stand / remain upright up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Drive fork lift when needed
  • EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES :

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous work experience in food, drug, dietary supplement and / or cosmetic manufacturing preferred.
