Verdantas is seeking a talented Geotechnical Staff Engineer I to join our team in the Rancho Cucamonga office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that make a real impact on communities and the environment. As part of our collaborative and innovative team you will contribute to geotechnical investigations design and analysis for a variety of infrastructure and development projects. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.

What Youll Do :

• Perform specific geotechnical engineering calculations including foundation bearing capacity slope stability and liquefaction analysis
• Conduct field exploration and create logs for test borings / pits with soil descriptions
• Coordinate and perform quality control testing during grading using a nuclear gauge
• Perform subsurface investigations for residential commercial and public works projects
• Complete laboratory soil testing work
• Review grading and foundation plans for conformance
• Perform or supervise field technician work
• Prepare design requirements technical reports and proposals
• Follow company policies and procedures and all safety procedures

Salary Range : $72000-$77000
