The Instructional Design Specialist III skillsets may be more specifically defined at the task order level to include developing and conducting training needs surveys, analyzing results, identifying training needs, and developing and creating necessary eLearning training via client supplied software to meet those needs. In addition, they will design and develop guidelines, behavioral objectives, instructional methods, course materials, and training aids.

- Develops course outline and objectives
- Designs and develops course content
- Designs and develops storyboards and interaction models for simulations
- Writes scripts for audio and video presentations
- Designs and develops script scenarios for soft skills and other training
- Designs and develops training content in an eLearning platform
- Creates 508 accessible training with high usability in eLearning platforms
- Creates branching models for multiple outcome training modules
- Interacts with SMEs to create training modules and submit finished projects for review
- Collaborates with client staff on Instructional Design issues and methodology
