The SD Board of Regents Information Systems is seeking a self-starter to develop and support technology-based software solutions, with a focus on administrative systems including HR, Finance, Student Information, Financial Aid and related systems, to ensure the efficient operation, integration, and delivery of services for the BOR public University system.Responsibilities include being a primary resource to create and implement new technology-based software solutions; application software system support; implementation and support of interoperability tools and technologies; and to address integration requirements between the BOR systems. This position is physically located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and is NOT a remote position.

Preferred Skills :
Applicants with software development experience, 4 or more years of related work / school experience, and who are able to provide guidance and expertise on all aspects of the software development life cycle will be considered at the Software Engineer classification.

This position is housed at the Regents Information System (RIS) offices in Sioux Falls, SD. RIS operates the computing systems, networks, and security for the Regental System in direct coordination with the Board of Regents mission.
