Systems Administrator
The candidate's day-to-day activities include but are not limited to : Redhat Linux server management; storage management; file server management; access management; data backup; software and license configuration; and workstation support. This position is onsite in Fort Wayne, IN and there is relocation assistance if needed.
What You Will Do :
- You will provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Redhat 7 & 8 Enterprise Linux environment.
- Understanding and knowledge of Linux Server internals to include DNS, File sharing protocols, DHCP, AD integration via LDAP, file system structures and permissions.
- Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
- Understanding of data backup uses and technologies.
- Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.An active DoD Secret clearance is required.Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities.Must have experience with Redhat servers and workstations.Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and / or other virtual computing methods.Must be able to develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.Experience with Linux architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring / tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.Experience with NAS and / or SAN storage capabilitiesExperience with application installation and multi-server environment / deployment.Qualifications We Value :

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
