Community Outreach Coordinator Multilingual

Please note : This position requires both spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic, Swahili, Rohingya, Kurdish, Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

The Multilingual Community Outreach Coordinator supports program outreach and engagement initiatives through designing and coordinating community outreach and engagement events.

• Community engagement through presentations, education, consultations, meetings, workshops.
• Mobilize, engage, collaborate and partner with community organizations, faith institutions, governmental partners, individuals, families, and youth to implement community-led engagement and awareness processes.
• Facilitate culturally specific community assessment and data management.
• Report on outreach and engagement activities, data tracking and grant reporting.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant program / department requirements, including and not limited to adhering to all record-keeping and reporting requirements.
• Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members and facilitate development of a positive staff support network.
• Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served.
• Other duties as assigned.
