job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the office property and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols. Communicate with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions, provide directions, and relay security-related information. Support access control procedures by verifying identification and assisting with visitor management as needed. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
