Director Of Maintenance & Reliability
The Director of Maintenance & Reliability is responsible for driving asset reliability and operational excellence across all company facilities. This role develops and executes a unified reliability strategy that enhances safety, maximizes uptime, and supports compliance in a high-risk industrial environment. You'll lead initiatives that build a proactive maintenance culture, optimize systems and processes, and foster continuous improvement. Reporting to the Vice President of Operational Excellence, this position also oversees engineering steering processes and provides regular updates to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Design and implement a comprehensive maintenance and reliability framework aligned with business objectives.
- Standardize : Preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) processes across all sites.
- Define : And track KPIs to measure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Culture & Capability Building : Champion a reliability-focused mindset throughout the organization. Promote collaboration and resource sharing across sites to build a unified, high-performing team. Drive alignment on critical processes such as shutdown planning, maintenance practices, and spare parts management. Lead training programs to strengthen technical skills and ownership of reliability principles.
- Systems & Process Optimization : Oversee CMMS / EAM implementation and optimization for work management and asset tracking. Integrate advanced technologies like condition monitoring and predictive analytics for data-driven decisions. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Strategic Planning & Improvement : Develop long-term improvement plans for maintenance and reliability functions. Identify capital investments to extend asset life and reduce operational risk. Lead initiatives to improve equipment uptime, minimize unplanned downtime, and optimize total cost of ownership.
- Engineering & Executive Reporting : Facilitate engineering steering processes with operational stakeholders to prioritize reliability projects. Present progress, metrics, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Leadership & Financial Management : Manage budgets, resource allocation, and capital planning for maintenance and reliability projects. Build and mentor a high-performing team of professionals. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain to align priorities and deliver results.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in maintenance and reliability leadership, preferably across multiple sites.Familiarity with CMMS / EAM systems; experience with system upgrades is a plus.Strong background in reliability-centered maintenance and process optimization.Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.Job Type & Location :

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $200000.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
