Medical Assistant
Location : Glastonbury, CT (with travel to Avon, West Hartford, and other nearby sites)
Join our patient care team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting providers and nursing staff with daily office operations. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient cardiology setting.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with patient care tasks and clinical support duties.
- Measure and record vital signs accurately.
- Manage patient intake and ensure smooth flow through the office.
- Room patients promptly and maintain efficiency.
- Document patient information in electronic health records (EHR) with precision.
Essential Skills :
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) diploma required.1+ years of experience in a medical assisting role (entry-level candidates will be considered).Strong proficiency in patient care and clinical tasks.Familiarity with EHR systems and triage procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Cardiology experience is a plus.Ability to perform EKGs and assist with stress testing.Highly organized and efficient in managing patient flow (goal : room patients every 20 minutes).Specialty experience preferred but not mandatory.Work Environment :
This role is based in a fast-paced cardiology office that values a family-oriented atmosphere while handling high patient volumes. Primary location is Glastonbury, with additional sites in Avon, West Hartford, Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor, and Norwich.Schedule :
Full-time, with availability from 7 : 15 AM to 5 : 00 PM.Job Type & Location :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
