Maintenance Technician

Job Summary :  Our client is a leading food production company located here in Metro Detroit.  They are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team.  The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facilities. This role ensures that the production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.     Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all production equipment, including mixers, fillers, and packaging machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and electrical issues, making necessary repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize equipment downtime and ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area, adhering to all safety protocols and practices.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests quickly to restore operations with minimal disruption.
