BMC is a local, independent, and physician-owned medical group with over 20 primary and specialty care departments, 90 providers, and 325+ clinical and support professionals. Since our founding by 10 physicians in 1949, we have grown and evolved to meet the needs of Boulder County and beyond.

We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.

Position Summary :

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a General Surgery Physician to provide on-call coverage approximately 10 days per month. The schedule will be coordinated collaboratively with the current General Surgeon. This is a short-term, contract position with no defined end date, well-suited for a surgeon interested in a flexible, low-volume call schedule within a supportive environment. Please note that this is a contracted role and is not benefits-eligible.

Position Highlights :

• Provide after-hours clinic call triage and hospital coverage for General Surgery patients.
• Receive and triage patient calls, assess concerns, and provide appropriate medical guidance by phone.
• Call volume is typically low.
