POSITION OBJECTION

The Design Engineer 1, under the direction of the Engineering Manager, is responsible for designing products, components, and systems and assisting in their introduction into production. In this role, the Design Engineer has the responsibility to ensure the electrical elements of our products perform up to product specifications and meet customer demand. This is considered an entry-level position for a degreed Engineer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualize, design, develop, and test components and products
• Participate in project teams and activities related to new product development
• Evaluate systems, products, components, and applications by designing experiments and applying technical knowledge
• Verify component and system capabilities by designing testing methods
• Develop products by understanding customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
• Assure product quality by designing test methods; test finished products and system capabilities
