Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical guidance and support in an acute inpatient setting. You will foster patient- and family-centered care, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices throughout the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. You will manage patient care with a focus on safety, compliance, and continuous quality improvement.
As an RN in this role, you will work collaboratively with healthcare teams and be proactive in identifying patient priorities, following all organizational policies, and adhering to the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
This position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and document pertinent data effectively.
- Develop and continuously update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Identify measurable goals for patients and ensure plans are communicated and documented appropriately.
- Respect and integrate patients' cultural, spiritual, and belief systems in care planning.
- Coordinate discharge planning to support seamless transitions of care.
- Provide high-quality direct patient care following established nursing guidelines.
- Delegate nursing tasks as appropriate while ensuring completion and accountability.
- Monitor patient conditions and quality of care diligently, implementing necessary changes for improvement.
- Utilize technology to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to a safe environment through adherence to safety protocols and patient care standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and education to maintain competency and licensure.
- Document all relevant patient information accurately to support ongoing care.
- Advocate for patients and ensure effective care coordination with team members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support team goals.
Supervisory Responsibility
This is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor, manager, or director.
Qualifications
Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Experience : At least one (1) year of experience as a registered nurse is required.Licensing Requirements
