Job Description
The Medication Tech / CNA @ The Cardinal at North Hills is responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.
Part Time (Every other weekend plus 1 day during the week)
2nd (3p-11p) 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
Medication Technician
- Must have a CNA certification
- Pay Range $21 / hr - $23 + / hr (MT / CNA Combo)
Openings are in our Skilled, Memory Care & Assisted Living Units.
Paid Vacation / Free Meal each shift
CNA : must be licensed in North Carolina verifiable through online registryMT : must be a licensed Medication Aide verifiable through online registrymust be able to provide certificate of completion of 10-hour and 5-hour or 15-hour Medication Technician Certification course (we will certify after 90 days of solid employment)What will I do every day as a MT?
Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to supervisorAssist residents with simple requests as neededDocument and report changes of conditionProvide medication set up and assistanceLog in medications from pharmacies, verify physician’s orders and communicate any concernsTrack all medications and re-order as neededTrack residence vital signs, diabetic testing and / or insulin injection, ambulation, etc.What will I need to be successful in this role?
