Clinical Support Technician - Family Medicine

Position Summary :

This position will provide and / or support patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards and HealthPartners policies and procedures. In addition, may function in supply aid and / or sterilization capacity by maintaining a safe work area and ensuring that it is adequately stocked, cleaned and organized. Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.

Required Qualifications :

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination :
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years customer service experience and / or healthcare experience
• Complete Medical Terminology and Pharmacology online courses within six months of hire
• Licensure / Registration / Certification :
• Complete BLS course within 1 week of hire and maintained BLS certification in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA). No online only courses accepted.

Demonstrated organizational skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling

Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
