Pediatric Hospitalist opening minutes from Myrtle Beach, SC - $25K sign-on

Medical Center is now seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in Conway, SC.

This is a full-time inpatient pediatrician role, focusing on providing care to newborns and pediatric patients admitted to the hospital. The provider will manage a range of inpatient responsibilities, primarily related to newborn care with some pediatric admissions. The role is critical to maintaining comprehensive care for pediatric patients in a hospital setting.

SCHEDULE :

• 8 hours in-house per day (8 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM)
• 24 / 7 coverage with 16 hours of on-call responsibilities
• Typical census : 8-15 newborns per day and 0-2 pediatric patients per day
• Call responsibilities include : Nurse phone consultations, potential admissions from the ED, and attending high-risk deliveries or stabilizing sick newborns (calls come from nurses and / or ER doctors – NOT from parents)
