job_description.job_card.job_descriptionShift : 10H Nights – Thurs & Fri 9pm–7am, Sat & Sun 8 : 30pm–7am Description : Local (if under 50 miles) CT Tech needed ASAP Inpatient / outpatient (outpatient center with urgent care) One floor operational in a previously closed hospital Occasional head CTs; critical patients go to main hospital Must be IV certified or IV competent Occasional CTA; no coronal CTA GE calcium score experience is a plus Brand new GE dual energy scanner Must be able to work independently (may work alone) Approx. 12 miles northeast of Boston Must hold MA license + ARRT(CT) with IV cert Graduate of AMA-approved Radiological Technology program 3–5 years of experience Equipment : GE VCT and Evo / Evolution Essential Technical Functions : Competent with all department equipment or request needed training Warm up CT scanner, run QA, prep injector, PACS, and Meditech Complete CT procedures efficiently and provide patient feedback Adjust / manipulate images (windowing, contrast, algo, reformatting) Knowledge of scanners, Med Rad injectors, PACS, VRC, Powerscribe Select proper scanning levels based on anatomy Ensure proper scan labeling and documentation (name, date, accession, contrast info) Complete administrative tasks : tech edit, escort patient, clean room Notify Coordinator / delegate of equipment issues Report wet reads; access RadPortal if needed Restore prior exams for radiologist / VRC; burn CDs if requested Stock rooms, request supplies, keep control rooms tidy Perform clerical / other duties to maintain workflow and quality Cancellation Policy : N / A Charting System : MEDITECH BSN Required : False License to Submit : Yes, willing to wait Trauma Level : 2 Care Setting : Acute Division : Allied Shift Notes : Thurs & Fri 9pm–7am; Sat & Sun 8 : 30pm–7am Required Certifications : ARRT (CT), BLS Holiday Pay Weekly pay Guaranteed Hours 401k retirement plan Medical benefits Mileage reimbursement Referral bonus License and certification reimbursement Dental benefits
